Bad Ideas Never Die – 英语海盗,进来接招!
These days, you just won’t believe what kinda mental retard you might run into.
My suggestion is that you never ever underestimate the shamelessness, as well as Bernard Mandoffly – though merely close related with I’m stating here- behavior, of people from the same tribe.
I remember vividly how Vince Carter’s respectable mother fought back Charles Buckley’s negativity-that-sells sorta biased “comments” on VC – “then man just can’t speak three sentence without destroying the language”. In a very recent case, I find it perfectly comply with英语海盗’s deed.
A little dig into this guy’s public record can’t help revealing the fact that ever since last November’s registration, this poor man hasn’t posted A SINGLE thread regarding any random topics. And all of a sudden, out of nowhere, this man clearly IS a No.1 靓女fan and beginning to infuse all this “innovative learning” under the purpose of defending his master, as if it’s a real thing that’s feasible. Who are you for God’s sake hiding behind a stupid mask claiming yourself to be superior and well educated to the extent that even CANNOT provide any underpinnings or solid reasoning for your so-called pathetic methodology.
That said. This man undoubtedly doesn’t dare to upload his audio either afraid of that we happen to recognize the voice from somewhere or he’s bluffing and indeed lousy.
Bad ideas never die. 英语海盗 exemplifies this by bragging about his “innovative learning” which is based on crap – “我们应该坚信,只有我们坚持自己的信念,只有我们觉得用起来舒服和地道,我们就应该大胆地要运用下去,总有一天我们所坚持的用法会被世界上绝大多数英语使用者接受的” (basically we shouldn’t give a rat about whether it’s a right use or not. The only thing that matters in language learning is that we feel comfortable with what we say or how we manifest. As long as we carry on this method, whatever we use today would be widely accepted all over the world one day)
“ 1. Long time no see. “好久不见”这样中国式的问候方式已经广泛深入了英美国家广大人民群众的生活中了,这也是以中国古代文明为代表的先进生产力渗透到西方资产阶级体系的一个生动例子;
2. 中国的 Toufu, coolie, 等等日常的词汇也早就深入西方广大英语 本族语人士(native speakers)的生活中;当他们这么说话的时候,谁敢说他们说的英语不地道?”
The only reason “long time no see, toufu, coolie” popularized is because they don’t cause any misunderstandings. That easy. Nobody, even brain damaged as you are, will get toufu wrong because there plenty of them in Chinatown. It’s the same with “long time no see”, the sentence speaks for itself clearly. The meaning is NOT vague. That’s the point.
Why the hell interpreted the phenomenon into something doesn’t make any sense – “只有我们觉得用起来舒服和地道” (as long as we fee comfortable using the language that way)?? That is why the phrase “盲人摸象”was invented. Every native speaker utilizes “end up the mess” when, and only when, he/she’s going to say “to finally be in a particular place or situation”.
Don’t be trying to abuse the word of “theory” please! And your intervention was clearly a failure. Try something else~~~
